Description

  • Manage the full sales cycle for customer expansion, from outbound prospecting through discovery, negotiation, and close within an assigned territory of existing Toast SMB POS customers.
  • Identify, qualify, and close upsell and expansion opportunities to drive revenue and unit bookings.
  • Conduct deep discovery and use consultative selling to uncover customer pain points and align Toast product offerings to business goals.
  • Maintain and execute disciplined pipeline management and activity records in Salesforce CRM and other essential sales tools.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly quota and sales performance targets.
  • Develop and maintain market and product expertise to effectively position Toast solutions and differentiate against competitors.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with New Business, Services, and Implementation teams to ensure successful onboarding and customer satisfaction.
  • Apply strategic sales methodologies (e.g., Sandler) to create urgency, communicate value, and construct compelling commercial propositions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in a closing role (e.g., Business Development Representative, Account Executive) with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proven success in a high-velocity or high-volume transactional B2B SaaS sales environment.
  • Demonstrated full-cycle sales skills including deep discovery, persuasive storytelling, negotiation, and closing techniques.
  • Consultative sales approach with the ability to act as a strategic consultant and challenge customer perspectives.
  • Growth and ownership mindset; highly self-motivated, competitive, resilient, and accountable for results.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving sales environment.
  • Willingness to work primarily remotely and spend occasional time in the field within assigned territories.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM (helpful).
  • Experience with Sandler Sales Training or similar structured sales methodologies (nice to have).
  • Prior B2B sales experience within SMB, restaurant, hospitality, or retail sectors (nice to have).

  • Estimated Total Targeted Cash compensation range: $118,000–$189,000 USD (base salary, commission, benefits, and equity if eligible).
