Description

  • Manage a book of existing SMB Toast POS customers and own territory-based customer expansion efforts.
  • Drive the full sales cycle for upsell opportunities from outbound prospecting through contract negotiation and close.
  • Conduct deep discovery and use consultative selling to uncover customer pain points and align Toast solutions to business goals.
  • Consistently achieve quota by meeting or exceeding monthly sales revenue and unit booking targets.
  • Maintain and organize a sales pipeline and activity records within Salesforce CRM and other sales tools.
  • Develop market and product expertise and articulate Toast’s value against competitive alternatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with New Business, Services, and Implementation teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Apply strategic sales methodologies (e.g., Sandler) to create urgency, demonstrate value, and construct compelling propositions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in a closing role (e.g., BDR, Account Executive) with a consistent track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
  • Experience in a high-velocity or high-volume transactional B2B SaaS sales environment.
  • Proven full-cycle sales skills including deep discovery, storytelling, persuasive negotiation, and closing techniques.
  • Consultative approach with the ability to act as a strategic consultant and challenge customer perspectives.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, resilient, and accountable with a growth and ownership mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving sales environment.
  • Ability to work primarily remotely while spending occasional time in the field within assigned territory(ies).
  • Nice to have: familiarity with Salesforce CRM.
  • Nice to have: experience with Sandler Sales Training or similar structured sales methodologies.
  • Nice to have: prior B2B sales experience in SMB, restaurant, hospitality, or retail sectors.
