Description

  • Advise client data and technology leaders through thought leadership, workshops, and educational forums.
  • Assess client data platforms, operating models, and technology practices, recommending improvements and transformation roadmaps.
  • Lead technology strategy across Data & Insights transformation initiatives, including organization, processes, and governance.
  • Develop scalable architectures and solutions for complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Present Data & Insights capabilities to prospective clients and develop architectures, proposals, statements of work, and requirements responses.
  • Partner with business and delivery leaders to shape data, analytics, AI/ML, cloud, and modernization opportunities.
  • Mentor engineering, data, architecture, and analytics professionals across career levels.
  • Guide architecture resources across client engagements and internal initiatives.
  • Create go-to-market assets, including reference architectures, methods, accelerators, and delivery practices.
  • Support recruiting, interviews, talent development, and collaboration with offshore teams on design, training, and delivery quality.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience developing solution architectures for large enterprises and complex transformation programs.
  • Hands-on and architectural expertise with the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, including designing, implementing, and modernizing enterprise data and AI platforms.
  • Experience with Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Databricks SQL, Unity Catalog, Workflows, notebooks, pipelines, governance, security, and platform administration.
  • Experience building and governing batch, streaming, data engineering, analytics, machine learning, and AI workloads on Databricks.
  • Experience integrating Databricks with cloud services, particularly Azure and Azure Databricks; AWS or Google Cloud experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL, MPP, columnar databases, big data ecosystems, cloud data warehouses, and cloud-native data platforms.
  • Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Event Hubs, and related security, integration, and monitoring services.
  • Experience with batch ETL/ELT, real-time streaming, event-driven architectures, IoT pipelines, and distributed computing.
  • Databricks certification is preferred, such as Data Engineer, Machine Learning Professional, or Data Analyst certifications.
  • Preferred experience leading Databricks migrations, defining Lakehouse operating models and governance, and working with CIO, CTO, CDO, and senior data leaders.
