Description

  • Refactor Python optimization algorithms using object-oriented programming.
  • Apply data science and optimization methods to supply-chain and retail or CPG business problems.
  • Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques to generate pricing optimization insights.
  • Develop predictive models and optimization algorithms to improve pricing strategies.
  • Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor industry trends in data science, replenishment optimization, and supply-chain management.
  • Collaborate with, coach, and learn from experienced data scientists.
  • Explain analytical solutions and outcomes to business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a data scientist, particularly in supply-chain optimization and inventory allocation.
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Experience applying mathematical programming solvers such as Gurobi, Xpress MP, CPLEX, or Google OR-Tools.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods, optimization techniques, and predictive modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL, plus data analysis and machine learning libraries.
  • Ability to apply analytical models to business use cases.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging business partners and stakeholders.
