Description

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, data integration processes, and data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to support data-driven decision making.
  • Design and implement robust data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and storing unstructured data at scale.
  • Build and maintain cloud-native ETL/ELT processes using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.
  • Ensure seamless integration between GCP and Snowflake.
  • Leverage Snowflake unstructured data capabilities such as Directory Tables, Scoped URLs, and Snowpark to make dark data queryable and actionable.
  • Integrate AI tools such as OCR, NLP entities, and Document AI into engineering workflows to transform unstructured blobs into structured insights.
  • Tune complex SQL queries and Python-based processing jobs for petabyte-scale environments efficiently.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in Dataiku.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing data pipelines for unstructured data at scale.
  • Experience with Snowflake and GCP, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake unstructured data capabilities, including Directory Tables, Scoped URLs, and Snowpark.
  • Experience integrating OCR, NLP entities, and Document AI into data engineering workflows.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills for optimizing processing jobs in large-scale environments.
  • Ability to work in petabyte-scale environments efficiently.
  • Experience in advanced analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI environments is preferred.
