Description

Architect, design, and implement advanced analytics capabilities.
Build and deploy large-scale data processing pipelines in production.
Develop and optimize data transformation and processing workflows.
Design and maintain database and data warehouse structures.
Work with large, complex, and unstructured datasets to generate insights.
Build self-service dashboards and support visualization efforts.
Apply analytics solutions to solve business challenges and improve data capabilities.
Build processes for data transformation, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic consulting environment.

Requirements

12+ years of overall industry experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on the AWS Cloud stack and AI.
8+ years of experience building and deploying large-scale data processing pipelines in production.
Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
Advanced SQL experience with relational databases and query authoring across multiple database types.
Deep experience with Snowflake, Databricks on AWS, dbt, and distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
Understanding of data warehouse systems and migration from data warehouses to data lakes/Snowflake.
Understanding of ELT and ETL patterns and when to use each.
Experience with data modeling and transforming data into structured models.
Strong analytical skills for working with unstructured datasets.
Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
