Description

  • Architect, design, and implement advanced analytics capabilities.
  • Build and deploy large-scale data processing pipelines in production.
  • Develop and optimize data transformation and processing workflows.
  • Design and maintain database and data warehouse structures.
  • Work with large, complex, and unstructured datasets to generate insights.
  • Build self-service dashboards and support visualization efforts.
  • Apply analytics solutions to solve business challenges and improve data capabilities.
  • Build processes for data transformation, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic consulting environment.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of overall industry experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on the AWS Cloud stack and AI.
  • 8+ years of experience building and deploying large-scale data processing pipelines in production.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
  • Advanced SQL experience with relational databases and query authoring across multiple database types.
  • Deep experience with Snowflake, Databricks on AWS, dbt, and distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
  • Understanding of data warehouse systems and migration from data warehouses to data lakes/Snowflake.
  • Understanding of ELT and ETL patterns and when to use each.
  • Experience with data modeling and transforming data into structured models.
  • Strong analytical skills for working with unstructured datasets.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
