Description

  • Own outside counsel and vendor management, including matter lifecycle administration, billing guideline enforcement, invoice approvals, monthly accruals, and firm onboarding.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for Ironclad, including contract submitter access, NDA workflows, HRBP signer requests, and Okta group management.
  • Manage AP reconciliation and legal finance reporting, including monthly forecasts, budget tracking across cost centers, settlement payments, and insurance procurement.
  • Oversee legal mail routing and ensure timely, accurate triage across litigation, trust and safety, payroll, and people operations matters.
  • Manage and optimize the legal team’s technology stack, including Legal Tracker, Mosaic, Ironclad, Navex/EthicsPoint, PLI, and Thomson Reuters.
  • Lead evaluation and integration of AI tools to modernize legal operations.
  • Maintain and improve knowledge management systems and support onboarding and due diligence initiatives.
  • Design and implement improvements to intake, billing, and contract workflows, while defining and tracking key operational metrics.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, HR, and IT to build scalable legal operations solutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in legal operations, paralegal work, or a related legal or business operations role, preferably at a technology company.
  • Hands-on experience with e-billing and matter management platforms such as Legal Tracker or equivalent.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management tools such as Ironclad or equivalent.
  • Strong financial acumen, including invoice processing, budget tracking, AP reconciliation, and monthly accruals.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and expertise in AI and legal technology, with proven experience using AI tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders with minimal oversight.
  • Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Experience improving or scaling legal processes or systems with measurable impact on efficiency, cost, or quality.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, HR, or IT is preferred.

  • Competitive salary range of $119,000-$154,000 in SF Bay Area, San Jose, New York City, or Seattle.
  • Competitive salary range of $107,100-$138,600 in Austin, Washington DC, California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Washington state.
  • Competitive salary range of $101,200-$130,900 in all other U.S. locations.
