Description

  • Extend and enhance existing components in the funnel/onboarding builder (Editor 2.0).
  • Ship features end-to-end from design handoff to production deployment.
  • Fix bugs across both legacy (AngularJS, jQuery) and modern (React, TypeScript) parts of the editor.
  • Write and maintain tests for critical flows and features.
  • Participate in thorough, constructive code reviews and technical discussions.
  • Take ownership of specific editor features or subsystems and act as the go-to person for those areas.
  • Help shape and execute incremental migrations of legacy code to modern patterns and frameworks.
  • Improve the performance, reliability, and test coverage of the editor.
  • Mentor and support other engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate directly with product and design to deliver user-focused solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years shipping frontend features in production web applications.
  • Solid JavaScript fundamentals and practical TypeScript experience.
  • Experience with at least one modern framework (React preferred).
  • Comfortable navigating and debugging legacy codebases (AngularJS, jQuery, or similar).
  • Ability to write tests and debug across browsers, with a deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser behavior.
  • Preference for shipping incremental improvements and balancing code quality with business needs.
  • Ability to ask clarifying questions, explain technical tradeoffs to non-engineers, and work in imperfect codebases.
  • Experience with visual builders, editors, or drag-and-drop UIs (nice to have).
  • E-commerce or SaaS product experience (nice to have).
  • Experience migrating legacy apps to modern frameworks or familiarity with microfrontends/modular architectures (nice to have).
