Description

  • Extend and enhance existing components in the funnel and onboarding visual editor
  • Ship features end-to-end, from design handoff through production deployment
  • Fix bugs across both legacy (AngularJS, jQuery) and modern (React, TypeScript) parts of the editor
  • Write and maintain tests for critical flows and debug cross-browser issues
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, providing constructive feedback
  • Take ownership of specific editor features or subsystems and be the go-to person for them
  • Drive incremental migrations of legacy code to modern patterns and help shape migration approaches
  • Improve performance, reliability, and test coverage of the editor
  • Mentor and pair with other engineers to raise team quality and knowledge

Requirements

  • 5+ years shipping frontend features in production web applications
  • Strong JavaScript fundamentals and experience with TypeScript
  • Experience with at least one modern framework (React preferred)
  • Comfortable navigating and working in legacy codebases (AngularJS, jQuery, or similar)
  • Ability to write tests and debug across browsers
  • Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser behavior
  • Experience with REST APIs and standard web tooling (Webpack, Jest, Cypress)
  • Experience using AI Agents and implementing/building AI tools and Agents
  • Approach that favors incremental improvements over large rewrites and balances code quality with business needs
  • Ability to ask clarifying questions, explain technical tradeoffs to non-engineers, and work effectively in imperfect codebases
  • Location: Remote - BR/ME (role is remote with that location designation)
