Description

  • Partner with customers to understand their technical environments, constraints, and goals.
  • Design solution architectures that account for latency, bandwidth, reliability, and other real-world conditions.
  • Communicate complex distributed systems concepts clearly and practically to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support the sales process as the technical lead in customer conversations.
  • Lead architecture discussions, whiteboarding sessions, and technical discovery.
  • Build trust by assessing tradeoffs honestly and transparently.
  • Architect solutions for distributed, hybrid, or constrained infrastructure.
  • Identify early risks such as network limitations, integration complexity, and system dependencies.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable inputs for engineering teams.
  • Stay engaged through early delivery to ensure alignment between design and execution.

Requirements

  • Experience working with distributed systems, infrastructure, or complex technical environments.
  • Ability to discuss system behavior, tradeoffs, and constraints beyond product features.
  • Ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Understanding that pre-sales solution design must be practical and deployable.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with evolving structure.
  • Willingness to contribute beyond a narrowly defined role.
  • Energy for early-stage work where impact is visible.
  • Experience with AI, HPC, or GPU-based infrastructure (preferred).
  • Background in hybrid cloud, edge computing, or distributed environments (preferred).
  • Familiarity with networking constraints, performance tuning, or system-level behavior (preferred).
  • Experience in early-stage or high-growth environments (preferred).
