Description

  • Build backend applications and services in a Google Cloud Platform environment.
  • Develop production software in Go for backend systems and APIs.
  • Integrate applications with GCP services such as Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
  • Build and automate workflows using Google Workflows and YAML-based definitions.
  • Orchestrate microservices and serverless functions as part of backend workflows.
  • Support and automate CI/CD pipelines for application delivery.
  • Design backend service architecture and API interfaces.
  • Collaborate effectively with distributed engineering teams in a remote setting.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of backend software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of professional Golang development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience working in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
  • Experience building backend services or APIs in Go.
  • Experience integrating applications with GCP services such as Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
  • Experience building or automating workflows using Google Workflows.
  • Familiarity with YAML-based workflow definitions.
  • Experience orchestrating microservices or serverless functions.
  • Experience supporting or automating CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong communication skills for working on distributed engineering teams.
  • Must reside within the continental U.S.
  • W-2 only; no C2C arrangements.
  • No work authorization sponsorship available now or in the future, including F-1 OPT/STEM.
  • Must be available for standard Eastern Time business hours and exclusively dedicated to this role.
  • All work must be performed from within the United States for the duration of the assignment.
  • Camera must be on during meetings and collaboration sessions for the first 90 days.
