Description

  • Develop new infrastructure features from specifications with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Participate in the scrum process, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups.
  • Work with other engineers to translate technical requirements into solutions that meet product expectations.
  • Fix live bugs, triage issues with peers, and identify root causes for production problems.
  • Validate code quality through manual and automated testing before and after release.
  • Own code through the full development lifecycle through production.
  • Implement new infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Help define scaling, alerting, and monitoring for internal services.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of Terraform and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with AWS services including Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, ECS, CloudFront, S3, and IAM.
  • Experience working with high-availability websites.
  • Experience with Cloud CDN tools such as Fastly and Cloudflare.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure, delivery, performance, and metrics-focused engineering work.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with multiple engineering teams.
