Description

  • Build innovative new features such as marketing optimization engines and billing reporting tools.
  • Work closely with the CTO to support company growth and product development.
  • Design and implement software solutions for web and mobile products.
  • Develop, release, and maintain the modern API layer.
  • Architect services using well-accepted patterns to support autonomous development and future scaling.
  • Contribute to an event-driven microservice architecture within the Google Cloud ecosystem.
  • Write and maintain unit tests and end-to-end tests.
  • Collaborate asynchronously across time zones with a remote team.
  • Take ownership of tasks and deliver follow-through with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Strong coding skills with Node.js, ESLint, unit testing, and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience developing, releasing, and maintaining a modern API layer.
  • Experience with object-oriented languages, preferably Kotlin.
  • Experience architecting services using well-accepted patterns for scalability.
  • Experience with an event-driven microservice architecture.
  • Experience working within the Google Cloud ecosystem.
  • Startup-style, quick, nimble, and passionate approach to engineering.
  • Strong software design and implementation expertise.
  • Experience supporting web and mobile products.
  • Mission alignment with helping people build healthy habits (implied by role context).
