Description

  • Handle high-intent inbound enquiries by phone and email from The Cruise Globe platform and Emma Cruises' audience.
  • Build rapport quickly and develop long-standing customer relationships.
  • Design cruise itineraries and quotes, then close bookings across mainstream, premium, and select luxury cruise lines.
  • Book complete travel packages when valuable, including air, hotels, transfers, insurance, and extras.
  • Manage group cruise bookings for milestone birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, and similar occasions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests throughout the booking and travel journey.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including conversations, preferences, and customer history.
  • Provide proactive post-booking service such as pre-cruise touchpoints and price monitoring.
  • Give honest, unbiased advice and handle problems or crisis situations calmly with the customer’s interest first.
  • Work within remote team processes and QA standards while using customer data to personalize service.

Requirements

  • Typically 3+ years of direct cruise sales experience as a specialist, not a generalist travel agent.
  • Strong knowledge of mainstream and premium cruise lines, cabin categories, fare and promotion mechanics, payment schedules, and common booking pitfalls.
  • Proven personal sales success with multiple 7-figure annual booking volumes.
  • Ability to speak credibly about personal close rates, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Strong phone-first rapport-building skills and the ability to create warmth and trust quickly.
  • Confident, consistent CRM usage for logging conversations, managing pipeline, and keeping records clean.
  • Working knowledge of major cruise line booking platforms for efficient, accurate booking under time constraints.
  • Familiarity with insurance platforms for upsell opportunities.
  • Ability to excel in a fully remote, self-directed, and organized work environment using Slack, CRM, and docs.
  • Passion for the work and flexibility to put in the time required to achieve strong results.
  • Experience in a host agency or consortium model, ideally within the Internova / Global Travel Collection network (preferred).
  • Familiarity with T-Profile as a CRM (preferred).
  • Familiarity with AdvisorOS, Cruise Complete, or comparable host back-office systems (preferred).
  • Group cruise sales experience (preferred).
  • Personal cruise experience (preferred).
  • Public recognition such as top producer, President's Club, or supplier recognition (preferred).
