Description

  • Handle high-intent inbound enquiries by phone and email from The Cruise Globe platform and Emma Cruises’ audience.
  • Build rapport quickly and guide customers from first conversation through to confirmed cruise bookings.
  • Design itineraries and quotes, and close bookings across mainstream, premium, and select luxury cruise lines.
  • Book complete travel packages, including flights, hotels, transfers, and extras when beneficial.
  • Handle group cruise bookings such as birthdays, anniversaries, and reunions accurately and confidently.
  • Serve as the customer’s primary point of contact throughout the booking journey and trip lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including conversations, preferences, and booking details.
  • Provide proactive post-booking support such as pre-cruise touchpoints and price monitoring.
  • Give honest, unbiased advice and protect the brand by prioritizing the customer’s best interest.
  • Work collaboratively in a fully remote team while following agency processes and QA standards.

Requirements

  • Typically 3+ years of direct cruise sales experience, with deep specialism in cruise travel rather than general travel sales.
  • Strong knowledge of mainstream and premium cruise lines, cabin differences, fare and promotion mechanics, payment schedules, and common booking pitfalls.
  • Proven personal cruise sales success, with demonstrable 7-figure annual booking volumes.
  • Ability to build trust and warmth naturally over the phone with UK customers.
  • Strong CRM fluency, including logging conversations, managing pipeline activity, and maintaining clean customer records.
  • Ability to excel in a fully remote, async working environment using Slack, CRM tools, and documentation.
  • Self-motivated, organised, disciplined, and reliable without direct supervision.
  • Ambition and flexibility to work beyond a standard 9-to-5 schedule when needed.
  • Experience in a host agency or consortium model (preferred).
  • Familiarity with T-Profile CRM, Dolphin software, or similar UK booking/back-office systems (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of ATOL and ABTA protection and the UK regulatory context (preferred).
  • Group cruise experience (preferred).
  • Personal cruise experience (preferred).
  • A public track record of recognition such as top producer status, awards, or supplier recognition (preferred).
