Description

  • Design, build, test, and deploy frontend and backend functionality across the TypeScript, Node.js, and React stack.
  • Independently design technical solutions within the existing architecture and communicate trade-offs clearly.
  • Own a subsystem or domain area and drive its quality, maintainability, and ongoing improvement.
  • Contribute product thinking to engineering decisions, including scope, sequencing, and problem selection.
  • Write clean, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, resolve bugs, and support system performance and stability.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly with the team.
  • Collaborate in a high-trust, feedback-oriented engineering culture.
  • Drive meaningful product work end-to-end with autonomy and accountability.

Requirements

  • Strong experience building production systems with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Ability to independently design scalable solutions and clearly communicate technical trade-offs.
  • Strong software design fundamentals and system-level thinking.
  • Comfort owning features from problem definition through production.
  • Pragmatic judgment that balances ideal architecture with shipping value.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and creating structure where needed.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills.
  • Strong internal drive and a genuine ownership mindset.
  • Ability to use AI thoughtfully to accelerate problem solving, debugging, and implementation while maintaining high standards.
  • Experience building and scaling production systems in a product-led startup or scale-up environment (nice to have).
  • Exposure to adtech, marketplaces, or performance-driven platforms (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with Cloudflare Workers, Queues, or KV (nice to have).
  • Exposure to data systems such as ClickHouse or similar OLAP platforms (nice to have).
  • Understanding of experimentation frameworks (nice to have).
  • Experience contributing to architectural discussions in growing systems (nice to have).
