Description

  • Own and extend UI, API, and hardware-in-the-loop test automation frameworks.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD test infrastructure, including pipeline orchestration, containerized environments, provisioning, and test parallelization.
  • Develop test plans, scenarios, cases, and data for software and hardware-in-the-loop features.
  • Maintain test cases and scripts, analyze results, and help developers resolve underlying issues.
  • Monitor production defects, identify root causes, expand coverage, and report quality metrics.
  • Triage automation failures and improve framework reliability and performance.
  • Design and execute performance, scale, security, accessibility, and user experience testing as needed.
  • Evaluate and validate AI-assisted testing tools, including self-healing automation, visual regression, and LLM-assisted test authoring.
  • Mentor engineers on test automation practices and collaborate with Developers, SREs, Product Managers, and Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of quality assurance experience delivering reliable products.
  • 4+ years of experience designing automation frameworks and developing test automation tools.
  • Demonstrated experience leading QA projects and initiatives.
  • Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, JIRA, STLC, and test management tools such as TestRail, ALM, or Zephyr.
  • Experience with automation tools or frameworks such as Karate, Requests, HttpRunner, TestNG, or Fiddler.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines as code, such as GitHub Actions.
  • Docker experience required; Kubernetes experience preferred, including containerized and ephemeral test environments.
  • Python proficiency required; shell scripting experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, performance, security, accessibility, ETL, data quality, advanced SQL, or AI-assisted QA tooling preferred.
