Description

  • Gather requirements, source and clean data, and perform quality assurance on outputs.
  • Build, automate, and maintain data extracts, reports, dashboards, and self-service analytics products.
  • Translate inpatient documentation—including flowsheets, orderables, notes, ADT activity, results, and charges—into reproducible measures.
  • Validate metric logic with nursing, service line, informatics, and operational stakeholders.
  • Monitor production reports and pipelines, investigate data quality issues, and lead remediation.
  • Support improvement initiatives involving length of stay, throughput, capacity, care variation, documentation compliance, and quality performance.
  • Collaborate with data scientists on operational analyses, predictive models, and applications.
  • Serve as a primary contact for customer operations teams and support customer presentations and engagement.
  • Contribute to standards for SQL, version control, and report development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of clinical data analytics experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer or data science, engineering, business/finance, or health sciences; master’s degree in public health, data science, business administration, or statistics; or relevant experience with a project portfolio.
  • Experience using and configuring BI tools, including Power BI; Business Objects experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data manipulation, stored procedures, and query optimization; Microsoft technologies preferred.
  • Experience with EHR analytics and clinical documentation; Epic Clarity and Caboodle highly desired.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with source control, issue trackers, continuous integration, code reviews, and agile development preferred.
  • Experience with AWS, Delta Lake or Databricks, Apache Spark, Python, healthcare standards, or machine learning workflows preferred.

  • Base salary of $97,750–$132,250, depending on geography and experience.
