Description

  • Gather requirements, source data, clean data, and perform quality assurance on data outputs.
  • Build, automate, and maintain data extracts, reports, dashboards, and self-service products.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists on operational improvement opportunities and predictive models or applications.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for Tendo customers’ Operations Teams and support their needs.
  • Prepare presentation materials for customers and facilitate ongoing customer engagement.
  • Curate data sets, organize information, and synthesize analytics into actionable insights.
  • Work with corporate and operational leaders to maintain reporting and analytics solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in clinical data analytics within a healthcare setting.
  • 5+ years of professional experience with EHR analytics, including Epic Clarity and Caboodle.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business/Finance, or Health Sciences; or a Master’s in Public Health, Data Science, Business Administration, or Statistics; or relevant work experience with a portfolio of projects.
  • Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Business Objects, including Crystal Reports, Universe, and Web Intelligence preferred.
  • Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures and query optimization, with Microsoft SQL experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Knowledge of clinical documentation in EHR systems and the ability to extract data based on workflow descriptions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work simultaneously with multiple clients and multiple projects.
  • Preferred experience with source control, issue trackers, CI, code reviews, and agile development processes such as Scrum or Lean.
  • Preferred experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Athena, and EMR.
  • Preferred knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, ICD, SNOMED, and LOINC.
  • Preferred experience with Delta Lake and/or Databricks.
  • Preferred experience with Apache Spark, including PySpark or Scala.
  • Preferred experience with Python.
  • Preferred experience with machine learning workflows and data requirements for ML frameworks.
