Description

  • Support hiring across R&D, including sourcing and closing senior and staff-level technical candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers and teams to understand hiring needs and priorities.
  • Own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer negotiation and closing.
  • Source diverse talent through creative outreach, networking, HireEZ, and open-source communities.
  • Manage and optimize recruiting workflows in Ashby to support a smooth, data-informed process.
  • Deliver a candidate experience that reflects Temporal’s values.
  • Identify and resolve recruiting bottlenecks while maintaining hiring quality and velocity.
  • Support onboarding transitions in partnership with People Operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with strong technical fluency.
  • Experience with specialized technical markets such as distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, workflow orchestration, or platform engineering.
  • Track record of success in a fast-paced, high-growth startup or infrastructure/developer-tools company.
  • Ability to source passive candidates and engage technical talent communities.
  • Strong knowledge of ATS and sourcing platforms; Ashby experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence working with senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills while managing multiple searches.
  • Collaborative approach and commitment to building diverse, values-aligned teams.
  • Ability to balance urgency with thoughtful, careful decision-making.
  • Familiarity with open-source communities or developer-focused products preferred.
