Description

Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Create and improve automated test scripts for recurring scenarios and critical product workflows.
Analyze product requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to ensure adequate test coverage.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution and support root cause analysis with developers.
Validate features, enhancements, bug fixes, and release candidates across web, mobile, APIs, and platform applications.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release readiness discussions.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to improve test strategies, environments, and release quality.
Maintain test documentation, test data, and traceability between requirements and test coverage.
Support API, database, and end-to-end testing as needed.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing standards.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in manual and automation testing of web applications.
Hands-on experience with frontend UI testing and backend API and database testing.
Strong expertise in test automation using Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
Solid working knowledge of Core Java and experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
Proficiency with Postman for API testing.
Ability to write and execute basic to intermediate SQL queries for backend validation.
Strong understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect tracking processes.
Experience with JIRA or other test management platforms.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
