Description

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Create and improve automated test scripts for recurring scenarios and critical product workflows.
  • Analyze product requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution and support root cause analysis with developers.
  • Validate features, enhancements, bug fixes, and release candidates across web, mobile, APIs, and platform applications.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release readiness discussions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to improve test strategies, environments, and release quality.
  • Maintain test documentation, test data, and traceability between requirements and test coverage.
  • Support API, database, and end-to-end testing as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing standards.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in manual and automation testing of web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with frontend UI testing and backend API and database testing.
  • Strong expertise in test automation using Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
  • Solid working knowledge of Core Java and experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Proficiency with Postman for API testing.
  • Ability to write and execute basic to intermediate SQL queries for backend validation.
  • Strong understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect tracking processes.
  • Experience with JIRA or other test management platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
