Description

  • Lead discipline-specific design, coordination, and documentation efforts for complex, multi-discipline projects.
  • Serve as project lead on selected engagements and maintain accountability for profitability, scope alignment, and project health.
  • Identify risks early, communicate project issues clearly, and recommend adjustments that protect delivery momentum and quality.
  • Collaborate with Group Leads, Team Leads, Project Leads, and cross-discipline teammates to resolve coordination challenges and maintain standards.
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships through clear communication, reliable execution, and technical advisory support.
  • Contribute to pursuits, interviews, scope inputs, and fee proposal refinement to help win new work.
  • Mentor engineers, designers, and production team members through design reviews, markups, feedback, and performance input.
  • Document client-specific processes, project decisions, meeting notes, and deviations in tools such as the Design Decision Log and project systems.
  • Improve TEECOM standards, templates, tools, and workflows through documentation updates, lessons learned, and Pull Requests.
  • Support workload forecasting, resource planning, QA/QC, and financial accountability including billing clarity and time/expense reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services.
  • Experience in ICT, Security, Physical Security, or Electronic Security disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver coordinated, high-quality designs and make sound discipline-specific decisions.
  • Ability to lead portions of complex, multi-stakeholder projects with minimal oversight.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and coordination requirements.
  • Experience contributing to documentation updates, design standards, and QA/QC workflows through GitHub or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and GitHub.
  • Industry certifications such as PSP and/or CPP preferred for Security, CDT preferred, EIT plus PE plus, and PMP plus.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
