Description

  • Lead large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish with minimal direction.
  • Prepare and coordinate detailed drawings, specifications, calculations, and client reporting.
  • Develop fees, lead proposal efforts, coordinate pursuit interviews, and negotiate project fees.
  • Build and maintain client relationships to generate repeat and expanded business.
  • Conduct client meetings, programming sessions, and project coordination meetings.
  • Delegate and review design work, markups, jobsite inspections, and technical documentation.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, scopes, risk, and profitability across assigned work.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, integrators, and internal teams throughout all project phases.
  • Mentor junior and senior staff, promote teamwork, and contribute to internal training content.
  • Support process improvement, recruiting efforts, and leadership updates on project status and performance.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering, electrical preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of telecom/structured cabling design experience for facilities construction projects.
  • Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Experience with Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft Office 365, and G Suite.
  • Knowledge of AEC industry design and construction for technology systems including telecommunications, cabling, audiovisual, security, acoustics, and wired/wireless networks.
  • Experience working on large and complex construction projects with multi-disciplinary coordination.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats and produce accurate documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, budgets, and client requests effectively.
  • EIT is a plus.
  • CDT is a plus, and RCDD, PE, and PMP certifications are a plus.
