Description

  • Own modeling strategy, coordination workflows, and delivery quality across assigned projects.
  • Develop and maintain coordinated Revit models, drawings, and construction documentation.
  • Lead BIM coordination efforts, including clash detection, issue tracking, and cross-discipline resolution.
  • Perform advanced modeling, calculations, research, specifications, and early engineering tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Manage model health by handling links, worksets, families, warnings, view templates, and cleanup.
  • Support project teams by estimating effort, sequencing work, and communicating risks and dependencies early.
  • Lead or support coordination meetings and produce clear notes and actionable follow-up items.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project leads, and production staff to resolve design and documentation issues.
  • Provide guidance to Designer I and II team members on workflows, modeling approaches, and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to TEECOM standards, templates, workflows, and GitHub documentation updates.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in the AEC industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and coordinated modeling across multiple projects.
  • Experience with construction documentation and coordination processes or field-related activities.
  • BS in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; Electrical engineering preferred.
  • Experience delivering technology system designs such as Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security, Acoustics, Network, or Wi-Fi (preferred).
  • Experience supporting engineering tasks such as calculations, device layouts, and specification development (preferred).
  • Experience leading BIM coordination, including clash detection, model review, and cross-discipline resolution (preferred).
  • Ability to maintain model health at a senior production level, including workset management, view templates, warning resolution, and cleanup.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit; familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.
  • Industry certifications such as EIT, CDT, CTS (AV), RCDD (Telecom), PSP/CPP (Security), or PE are preferred but not required.
