Description

  • Lead small- to mid-scale, multi-discipline projects from programming through closeout while maintaining scope, schedule, budget, and quality goals.
  • Deliver coordinated discipline designs, including layouts, calculations, specifications, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with Project Leads, Group Leads, senior engineers, and cross-discipline partners to align scope, sequencing, and design strategy.
  • Lead technical design reviews, identify coordination risks early, and resolve discipline conflicts with sound engineering judgment.
  • Document decisions, assumptions, client-specific nuances, and project notes in GitHub and project tools to support consistent delivery.
  • Mentor Designers and engineers through guidance, markups, reviews, feedback, and structured check-ins.
  • Contribute to discipline standards, tools, workflows, and QA/QC improvements through Pull Requests and lessons learned.
  • Support pursuits by contributing scope input, fee or OPCC assumptions, technical narratives, and interview participation.
  • Participate in client relationship development through clear communication, follow-through, networking, and thoughtful problem-solving.
  • Support programming sessions, site walks, surveys, and construction-phase coordination as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services with discipline-specific experience in ICT, Security, Physical Security, or Electronic Security.
  • Preferred experience leading discipline portions of mid- to large-size projects and supporting coordination.
  • Ability to deliver accurate, well-coordinated designs and make sound discipline-level decisions.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and cross-discipline coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to documentation updates, standards refinement, or QA/QC workflows through GitHub Pull Requests or similar platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365 Suite, Google Workspace, and GitHub.
  • Preferred industry certifications include PSP/CPP, CDT, EIT, PE, and PMP.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Ability to perform occasional travel to client sites, site walks, surveys, and construction-phase activities.
