Description

  • Review application requirements and interface designs.
  • Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-accurate web interfaces.
  • Develop and implement highly responsive user interface components using React concepts.
  • Build new features from the ground up and maintain existing projects.
  • Collaborate with onsite and offshore engineering teams to produce clean, reusable code and assist with code reviews.
  • Work with backend engineers to define API and data requirements for frontend applications.
  • Take ownership of code and verify acceptance criteria before handing tickets to QA.
  • Assist the QA team by validating bugs and providing timely fixes.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and provide feedback on application performance improvements.
  • Write unit and integration tests.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of active development experience with React JS.
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript programming, JSON, and REST APIs.
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Experience with Redux Toolkit and Hooks.
  • Experience with browser-based debugging and testing frameworks such as Enzyme, Mocha, and Jest.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, estimate work accurately, and complete tickets on time.
  • Good understanding of git and the gitflow workflow for source control and versioning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant years of work experience.
  • Typescript knowledge is a plus.
  • Node.js knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with mobile emulators and tools for ensuring mobile compatibility.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
