Description

  • Lead fullstack development with a strong focus on backend scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Design and implement the application architecture, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Set up and manage AWS infrastructure, including environment provisioning, identity and access management, networking, and monitoring.
  • Establish CI/CD pipelines and robust build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate on technology choices for the backend stack and frameworks.
  • Mentor and guide developers, conduct code reviews, and maintain high engineering standards.
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to deliver features on time.
  • Ensure best practices in security, testing, and DevOps automation are followed.
  • Help design and implement secure payment workflows and integrations for the new platform.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
  • Strong backend development experience, ideally with Node.js and TypeScript, or comparable languages such as Java or Golang.
  • Proven AWS experience building, deploying, and managing production workloads.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and monitoring tools.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, system design, API design, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience setting up greenfield projects or modernizing legacy systems.
  • Frontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, ECS, or EKS and with testing frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with payment systems or payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal, or Adyen, and secure transaction processing is highly valued.
  • Experience in startup or fast-scaling environments is a nice to have.
