Description

  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend microservices using .NET Core.
  • Own the full development lifecycle, including technical design, story breakdown, deployment, and debugging.
  • Collaborate with Frontend Engineers, Product Managers, and UI Designers to define requirements and deliver roadmap items.
  • Build backend support for real-time collaboration features used by property managers.
  • Apply best practices in software design, security, performance, and cloud architecture.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
  • Contribute to DevOps practices, standards, and team ways of working.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
  • Strong expertise in .NET Core / C#.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, or alternatively AWS.
  • Proficiency with SQL / Azure SQL.
  • Proven experience designing and building microservices.
  • Experience working on PaaS and SaaS products.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and the full Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Proficiency with Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and coordination skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong desire to learn, solve problems, and take ownership.
  • Experience with message-based communication tools such as ServiceBus or MassTransit is preferred.
  • Experience with ReactJS / React Native is preferred.
  • Experience with GraphQL is preferred.
  • Experience using TDD is preferred.
  • Technical diploma or tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related field is desirable.
  • Experience with Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket is desirable.
