Description

  • Prepare, review, and submit monthly sales tax filings and estimated liabilities.
  • Monitor client tax collection variances, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions.
  • Resolve time-critical notices, assessments, collections issues, and past-due returns with clients and tax authorities.
  • Support amended or late returns, audits, and updates to client information with state agencies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and maintain consistent communication.
  • Improve internal documentation, workflows, processes, and account-management tools.
  • Complete special client projects and backfilings within established timelines.
  • Continue developing sales tax knowledge and related technical skills through ongoing training.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of accounting or audit experience.
  • Experience managing multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and time-management skills.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, follow established processes, and propose creative improvements.
  • Comfort learning and using new technologies in a remote work environment.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong ownership, collaboration, and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable high-speed home internet and availability to work the core shift of 8:30 PM–1:30 AM PHT.
  • US tax knowledge and/or CPA certification preferred.
  • Willingness to provide reference calls with former managers and others before hiring.
