Description

  • Work directly with customers to operationalize, administer, and maintain the Tanium platform.
  • Solve complex technical issues independently and with support from teammates as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for customers to gain greater value from the Tanium platform.
  • Communicate customer needs clearly through strong verbal and written communication.
  • Conduct daily health checks on assigned customer accounts.
  • Work with Technical Support Engineers on strategic customer activities.
  • Contribute to activity tracking, after-action reports, root cause analysis, and daily status reports.
  • Document best practices and playbook entries.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers to improve operational status within key accounts.
  • Provide technical direction to customer IT support staff.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT or consulting.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration or engineering.
  • Hands-on Tanium experience is a major plus.
  • Ability to speak German, Spanish, or French is a major plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to articulate and communicate effectively.
  • Broad knowledge across several technical domains with deep knowledge in one or more of: endpoint security, endpoint support/troubleshooting, incident response, systems management, systems administration, software engineering, or utility scripting (Bash, PowerShell, VBScript, Python, etc.).
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to break problems into manageable, ordered components and convey the problem statement and plan of attack to others.
