Description

  • Define and manage the organization’s cloud architecture strategy, including cloud adoption and modernization approaches.
  • Design, govern, and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud application architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Configure and maintain core cloud infrastructure services such as compute, storage, identity, and security.
  • Design secure cloud networking for distributed, hybrid, and remote environments using zero trust principles.
  • Integrate identity federation and modern authentication methods such as SAML and OAuth 2.0.
  • Develop cloud delivery platforms and automated provisioning and deployment pipelines for frontend and backend services.
  • Establish secure cloud storage and computing environments in compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Lead architectural initiatives, workshops, and discovery sessions to support modernization and solution design.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, stakeholders, and customer leadership on enterprise cloud solutions.
  • Resolve cloud architecture issues during integration, testing, and deployment phases and provide technical leadership for program objectives.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with 8 years of cloud architecture experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Strong technical expertise as an emerging authority in cloud architecture.
  • Functional knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level cloud solutions.
  • Ability to develop technical solutions to complex architectural challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead architecture efforts and guide technical teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification and at least one cloud certification.
  • Preferred: multiple cloud certifications such as AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, or Google Cloud.
  • Preferred: experience with Git, CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins, vulnerability scanning tools such as SCC, OpenSCAP, or ACAS, code scanning tools such as Fortify, and container tools such as Twistlock, Docker, or Kubernetes.
  • Preferred: experience designing secure enterprise cloud architectures and familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
  • Preferred: experience supporting federal or DoD cloud environments and working with cloud security and compliance frameworks.
  • Preferred: strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
