Description

  • Drive end-to-end analytical discovery by defining questions, shaping hypotheses, performing root-cause analysis, and identifying second-order effects.
  • Produce high-context, narrative-driven analysis that informs product decisions and strategy.
  • Design tracking plans and instrumentation schemas and partner with engineering to ensure correct implementation.
  • Implement automated alerting and monitoring to detect health issues, funnel breaks, outliers, and behavior shifts in real time.
  • Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments, including A/B tests, multivariate tests, and staggered rollouts.
  • Select and apply appropriate statistical techniques, including frequentist and Bayesian methods, CUPED, and time-series methods.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and Design on product direction and decision-making.
  • Operate autonomously and own analytical strategy for the assigned product area.
  • Build and maintain a robust analytical foundation for the product team.
  • Use data to validate hypotheses, identify growth opportunities, and improve decision quality at speed.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in product analytics, data science, or growth analytics with extensive product-team experience.
  • Proven track record of influencing product roadmaps with evidence-based insights.
  • Expert-level SQL skills.
  • Experience with Snowflake or an equivalent cloud data warehouse.
  • Strong experimental design and statistical analysis skills.
  • Familiarity with event-based instrumentation and telemetry platforms.
  • Competence with data visualization tools and dashboards such as Looker or Metabase.
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead analytical strategy for a product area.
  • Experience in a remote-first, globally distributed team environment is relevant to the role.
