Description

  • Drive end-to-end analytical discovery: define questions, shape hypotheses, perform root-cause analysis, and identify second-order effects.
  • Produce high-context, narrative-driven analyses that inform product decisions and roadmaps rather than only dashboards or reports.
  • Design tracking plans and instrumentation schemas and collaborate with engineering to ensure correct implementation.
  • Implement automated alerting and monitoring to surface health issues, funnel breaks, outliers, and behavior shifts in real time.
  • Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments (A/B tests, multivariate tests, staggered rollouts).
  • Select and apply appropriate statistical techniques (frequentist/Bayesian, CUPED, time-series methods) to support analysis and experimentation.
  • Own analytical strategy and metrics for an assigned product area and ensure the product team has a batteries-included analytical foundation.
  • Operate autonomously and provide ongoing analytical partnership to product, engineering, and design teams to validate hypotheses and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in product analytics, data science, or growth analytics with extensive product-team experience.
  • Proven track record influencing product roadmaps with evidence-based insights.
  • Expert-level SQL proficiency.
  • Fluency with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouses.
  • Strong experimental design and statistical analysis skills, including familiarity with frequentist and Bayesian methods, CUPED, and time-series methods.
  • Familiarity with event-based instrumentation and telemetry platforms.
  • Competence with data visualization tools and dashboards (e.g., Looker, Metabase).
  • Ability to operate autonomously and lead analytical strategy for a product area.
