Description

Partner with Product Managers to shape roadmap priorities through structured problem framing and opportunity sizing.
Drive end-to-end analytical discovery by defining questions, forming hypotheses, performing root-cause analysis, and identifying second-order effects.
Produce narrative-driven analysis that informs product decisions and identifies growth opportunities.
Own the metric hierarchy for the product domain, including north-star, input, counter, and diagnostic metrics.
Design tracking plans and instrumentation schemas and work with engineering to ensure correct implementation.
Implement automated alerting and monitoring to detect health issues, funnel breaks, outliers, and behavior shifts in real time.
Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments such as A/B tests, multivariate tests, and staggered rollouts.
Select and apply appropriate statistical techniques and translate experiment outcomes into clear recommendations.
Mentor and support junior analysts while setting standards for analytical rigor and clarity.
Partner with Analytics Engineering to ensure models, marts, and pipelines meet quality standards and SLAs.

Requirements

4-6 years of experience in product analytics, data science, or growth analytics with extensive product-team experience.
Proven track record of influencing product roadmaps with evidence-based insights.
Experience in high-velocity experimentation environments such as consumer apps, fintech, SaaS, or marketplaces.
Expert SQL skills and fluency with Snowflake or an equivalent cloud data warehouse.
Strong experimental design and statistical analysis skills.
Familiarity with event-based instrumentation and telemetry platforms.
Experience with data visualization tools and dashboards such as Looker or Metabase.
Strong product intuition and the ability to identify friction, opportunities, and causal drivers in user behavior.
Ability to communicate ambiguous or complex insights through structured narratives.
Comfort operating autonomously and driving analytical strategy for a product domain.
