Description

  • Design and build autonomous, agent-driven systems that interact with data, tools, and users across SynMax’s products and internal platforms.
  • Develop intelligent workflows using large language models, structured data sources, APIs, and internal services.
  • Translate complex product and operational requirements into robust, scalable agentic architectures.
  • Build agent systems that can reason, retrieve information, orchestrate tools, and present structured, explainable outputs to users.
  • Develop customer-facing agentic features and interfaces for querying, exploring, and interpreting geospatial and market intelligence via natural language and agent-driven workflows.
  • Contribute to internal agentic platforms (knowledge agents, workflow assistants, internal support agents) and integrate them with tools like Slack, Jira, GitHub, Notion, HubSpot, and internal databases.
  • Design and implement evaluation approaches, feedback loops, observation, and performance measurement to track agent quality and reliability over time.
  • Develop safeguards, guardrails, auditing mechanisms, and responsible-AI practices to ensure systems enhance human decision-making and operate safely.
  • Support and guide teams using no/low-code agentic tools (e.g., N8N, Agent Builder), defining standards, integration patterns, and best practices to move experiments toward production.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data/platform engineering, commercial/operations, and leadership to shape agentic integrations and long-term AI strategy.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years experience as a software engineer, AI engineer, or applied machine learning developer.
  • Hands-on experience building systems using large language models or intelligent automation and scaling AI prototypes into production.
  • Strong system architecture and distributed systems experience, including API and service architecture design.
  • Strong programming capability and experience building reliable, observable, and scalable production systems.
  • Experience with LLM frameworks, agent orchestration, or multi-agent system design.
  • Ability to communicate complex systems clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience integrating agentic systems with tools such as Slack, GitHub, Jira, Notion, HubSpot, or similar platforms (desirable).
  • Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, AI system quality measurement, and designing safeguards/guardrails (desirable).
  • Experience in data-intensive, geospatial, or analytics-focused environments (desirable).
