Description

  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities from initial engagement through proposal development and commercial closure support.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders and act as a consistent point of contact for prospects and early-stage opportunities.
  • Lead or support customer meetings, briefings, and discovery sessions and represent the company at industry events and relevant forums.
  • Contribute to bid and proposal activities by shaping opportunities, providing client insight, gathering and structuring client requirements, and supporting commercial positioning for small-to-mid-sized opportunities.
  • Continuously gather and report market and customer insight, monitor competitor activity and industry trends, and help identify new use cases or customer segments.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing and communications, commercial and legal, and operational/technical delivery teams to progress opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, support pipeline forecasting and reporting to leadership, and ensure business development activity complies with internal governance and compliance requirements.
  • Manage multiple concurrent opportunities across sectors, geographies, and customer types and adapt to evolving priorities and territories.

Requirements

  • Experience in business development, account management, or commercial roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple opportunities across different customer environments.
  • Confident communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Comfort working with ambiguous or emerging opportunities and in environments where priorities or territories may evolve.
  • Desirable: experience in defence, intelligence, energy, security, or other complex technology sectors.
  • Desirable: experience working across international or export markets and exposure to public and private sector procurement environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management tools.

Benefits

  • Salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
  • Remote, full-time role with a London sales focus.
