Description

  • Own requirements for assigned product tracks from discovery through Definition of Ready across sportsbook, AI chatbot, and backoffice modules.
  • Facilitate backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions, preparing tickets and unblocking estimation.
  • Ensure acceptance criteria are complete and aligned to delivery needs.
  • Produce and maintain product and feature documentation in Confluence, including architecture context, decision records, process flows, and integration specs.
  • Collaborate with the Solution Architect and Product Owner on feature decomposition and prioritisation decisions.
  • Define and document access control rules, validation logic, and edge-case flows for complex product features.
  • Contribute to usability testing analysis by classifying outcomes and translating findings into defects or improvement items.
  • Support client-facing discovery and scope definition calls by preparing questions, capturing decisions, and producing written summaries.
  • Onboard new team members on product domain knowledge and serve as the go-to person for product context questions.
  • Champion AI tooling adoption within the BA function by running demos, sharing prompt templates, and helping peers integrate AI tools into daily workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on complex software products, including at least 1 year in iGaming or regulated digital platforms.
  • Proven ability to write production-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases ready for development.
  • Experience working in Lean AI-SDLC workflows and facilitating discovery, refinement, and delivery cycles efficiently.
  • Proficiency with Jira for ticket management and sprint tracking.
  • Proficiency with Confluence for documentation, decision records, and knowledge bases.
  • Excellent written and spoken English at C1 level for independent client-facing communication.
  • Strong prioritisation skills for managing a complex, multi-track backlog and trade-off decisions.
  • Resilience in high-pressure, fast-changing environments with comfort for ambiguity and tight timelines.
  • Comfort working with incomplete information and driving clarity through structured discovery.
  • Active daily use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for BA tasks, including drafting requirements, comparison, acceptance criteria generation, impact analysis, and meeting summaries.
  • Ability to write effective prompts to decompose vague feature ideas into structured user stories with edge cases.
  • Understanding of LLM concepts at a product level, including prompt engineering, context windows, hallucination risks, and topic classification.
  • Ability to review and contribute to AI-generated user stories and test cases, knowing when human correction is needed.
  • Familiarity with AI workflow automation tools such as Cowork, n8n, or Make.
  • Curiosity and self-direction in experimenting with new AI tooling and sharing learnings with the team.
  • Experience with sports betting or casino domains, including bet slip mechanics, odds formats, markets, and PAM, is nice to have.
  • Experience on a sportsbook backoffice platform, including trading, market configuration, manual bet placement, liabilities, and bet ticker, is nice to have.
  • Familiarity with multi-tenant or multi-brand SaaS platform architecture, is nice to have.
  • Background writing requirements for chatbot, conversational AI, or virtual assistant products, is nice to have.
  • Knowledge of KYC/AML compliance requirements in regulated gambling jurisdictions such as the UK, Africa, or EU, is nice to have.
