Description

  • Provide in-depth clinical support and technical expertise to medical teams using advanced surgical technology in operating room environments, focused on neurology-related procedures.
  • Deliver effective, hands-on training for neurosurgeons, OR nurses, and supporting staff on imaging software, procedural best practices, and system operation.
  • Support site readiness activities including system installation, qualification, and coordination with technical and engineering teams.
  • Attend and support live cases to ensure optimal workflow and clinical outcomes, assist with intraoperative troubleshooting, and capture case metrics.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and system issues during installations and live procedures and escalate to engineering or technical support as needed.
  • Document post-case findings, clinical outcomes, product feedback, and procedural insights using structured reporting tools.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with clinical stakeholders to ensure confidence in system capabilities and long-term satisfaction across accounts.
  • Act as a liaison between clinical users and technical support/engineering teams to drive continuous improvement based on real-world feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date on advancements in neurosurgery, neuro-navigation, and image-guided surgical technologies and incorporate learnings into clinical support and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Medical Imaging, Medical Technology, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the Operating Room and neurosurgery environments, especially supporting surgical teams.
  • Background in training, clinical applications, or support of medical devices.
  • Strong background or experience with surgical navigation, stereotactic neurosurgery, or image-guided surgical platforms (strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of planning/navigation software and OR workflows; comfortable using imaging software.
  • Demonstrated ability to attend and support live procedures, troubleshoot clinical systems, and document case outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for interacting with surgeons, OR staff, and technical teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% or greater depending on location, and be based on the East Coast with proximity to a HUB airport.
