Description

  • Prospect, educate, and close complex sales opportunities with health plans and payer organizations.
  • Develop and clearly articulate tailored value propositions for payer partners and specific lines of business.
  • Partner with internal subject-matter experts to advance deals, develop sales materials, and address complex customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with health plan leaders and key stakeholders, managing senior-level customer relationships.
  • Manage and grow a healthy sales pipeline, including accurate forecasting, performance tracking, and deal ownership.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Legal, Finance, and Implementation teams to successfully close deals and support long-term account success.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and meetings as a sales ambassador.
  • Leverage payer industry knowledge to identify and access new business opportunities and expand market reach.
  • Share insights, best practices, and learnings with peers to contribute to overall team success.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of sales or business development experience with strong exposure to health plans.
  • Solid understanding of the payer market, including self-funded lines of business and Medicare Advantage.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and independently managing deals.
  • Experience maintaining senior-level customer relationships and operating as primary deal owner.
  • Experience supporting financial modeling and participating in contract negotiations in partnership with internal teams.
  • Comfort working in evolving markets and adapting sales approaches as needed; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, results-oriented, and able to take strong ownership of outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
