Description

  • Analyze acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, and monetization funnels to identify drop-off points, conversion drivers, and churn reasons.
  • Own the end-to-end experimentation framework, including designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests.
  • Build predictive models for user retention and lifetime value to uncover behaviors tied to long-term growth.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Growth to define the measurement framework from scratch.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for consumer leadership and growth decisions.
  • Deep-dive into acquisition and onboarding funnels to identify friction points and opportunities for viral loops.
  • Explore ways to use AI and machine learning to personalize user experiences and automate growth workflows.
  • Help establish the data culture for a newly formed, pre-launch consumer team operating in a 0→1 environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Science, ideally in B2C/consumer growth or high-growth tech environments.
  • Expert-level SQL and Python or R.
  • Experience across the data stack, from ETL pipelines such as dbt and Snowflake or BigQuery to visualization tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Looker.
  • Deep understanding of hypothesis testing, causal inference, and statistical rigor in noisy, early-stage data.
  • An analytics-first mindset focused on business impact, clarity, and answering the right questions.
  • Comfort working in messy data environments and building infrastructure while delivering high-value insights.
  • Strong business intuition to connect metric changes to underlying user pain points.
  • High agency and a proactive approach to identifying and closing knowledge gaps.
  • Preferred: interest in leveraging AI and machine learning for personalization and growth automation.
