Description

  • Partner with engineering teams to develop and execute QA test plans that prioritize quality by design.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Conduct exploratory, functional, and regression testing for software products.
  • Test mobile and web user journeys on physical iOS and Android devices, focusing on UI/UX consistency and platform-specific behavior.
  • Test and automate RESTful API responses using tools such as Postman/Newman or Swagger.
  • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks for stable regression paths using tools such as Maestro, Playwright, or Appium.
  • Identify, document, track, and support resolution of software defects and issues.
  • Document testing results and communicate defects clearly to the development team.
  • Create and maintain internal documentation and user tutorials to support product knowledge.
  • Report project status and quality risks to partners using basic quality metrics.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience as a QA Analyst.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience performing exploratory, functional, and regression testing for complex mobile and web user journeys.
  • Experience testing on physical iOS and Android devices.
  • Proficiency with RESTful API testing and automation using Postman/Newman or Swagger.
  • Experience with or strong interest in automated testing frameworks such as Maestro, Playwright, or Appium.
  • Ability to write clear, executable test scenarios using Gherkin syntax (Given/When/Then).
  • Experience using proxy tools such as Charles Proxy, Proxyman, or Fiddler to inspect and mock network traffic.
  • Candidates must be based in Portugal and possess a valid EU visa.
  • Experience bridging communication across Clinical, Product, and Engineering teams is preferred.
