Description

  • Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to assigned clients.
  • Oversee client onboarding for all assigned engagements according to defined processes.
  • Implement the company’s technology toolbox to improve efficiency and client value.
  • Serve as a resource for team members on client tasks and issue resolution.
  • Monitor team performance for quality, timeliness, protocol adherence, and budget compliance.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to support team and client outcomes.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with client executives by understanding their needs and identifying proactive solutions.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and leadership to manage hiring for remote accountants.
  • Orient, train, and coach newly assigned accountants on standard processes and service delivery.
  • Balance workflow, manage capacity, and maintain profit margins for assigned clients and team.
  • Schedule and lead annual performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10 years of related accounting experience.
  • 4 years of hands-on management experience, including hiring, training, and developing a service-oriented team.
  • Ability to work full-time, 32-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during traditional daytime business hours.
  • Proven ability to attract, build, and retain a high-performance team.
  • Experience developing strong remote team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and best practices.
  • Commitment to follow established policies and procedures and hold others accountable to do the same.
  • Confidence in learning and using QuickBooks Enterprise and Online, Bill.com, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, HubDoc, and similar tools.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing.
  • Commitment to maintain the highest level of confidentiality with client data.
