Description

  • Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to assigned clients.
  • Oversee client onboarding for all assigned engagements in accordance with defined processes.
  • Implement technology tools across client engagements to improve efficiency and client value.
  • Serve as a resource to team members for client task guidance and issue resolution.
  • Monitor team performance, including work quality, protocol adherence, timeliness, and budget compliance.
  • Coach team members and provide feedback to support strong service delivery.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with client executives by understanding their business needs and proactively addressing issues.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and the Managing Director to manage hiring for remote accountants.
  • Orient, train, and coach newly assigned accountants.
  • Balance workflow, manage capacity, and maintain profit margin for assigned clients and team.
  • Schedule and lead annual performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10 years of related accounting experience.
  • 4 years of hands-on management experience, including hiring, training, and developing a service-oriented team.
  • Availability to work full-time, 32-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during traditional daytime business hours.
  • Proven ability to attract, build, and retain a high-performance team.
  • Experience developing strong remote team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and best practices.
  • Commitment to follow established policies and procedures and hold team members accountable to the same standard.
  • Confidence in learning and using QuickBooks Enterprise and Online, Bill.com, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, HubDoc, and similar tools.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Commitment to maintain the highest level of confidentiality when working with client data.
