Description

  • Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to assigned clients.
  • Support client onboarding for all assigned engagements according to defined processes.
  • Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable management as applicable.
  • Prepare bookkeeping entries, close the books monthly, and produce financial reporting and analysis.
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships within established processes and budget parameters.
  • Collaborate with managers and team members to ensure timely, effective client communication.
  • Participate in recurring team and one-on-one video check-in meetings.
  • Discover, learn, and implement software and technology solutions to support client work.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services or tools that add client value and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate internal workflow documentation and follow coaching and feedback as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including AP, AR, monthly close, and financial reporting/analysis.
  • Strong experience in federal government contracting, particularly with FAR, CAS, and DCAA compliance.
  • Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and other federal regulations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, or QuickBooks Government Edition.
  • Availability to work part-time, 25-30 hours per week.
  • Ability to work during traditional daytime business hours, 8:00 am–5:00 pm EST, CST, MST, or PST.
  • Strong commitment to client confidentiality while handling sensitive client data.
  • Experience managing client relationships and working within established processes and budget parameters.
  • Preferred ability to embrace new technology and adapt to a virtual, collaborative environment.
