Description

  • Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to assigned clients.
  • Oversee client onboarding for all assigned client engagements.
  • Implement the company’s technology toolbox to improve efficiency and client value.
  • Serve as a resource to team members for guidance on client tasks and resolution of client issues.
  • Monitor team performance, including work quality, protocol adherence, timeliness, and budget compliance, and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with client executives by understanding business needs and identifying proactive solutions.
  • Support clients’ evolving requirements by educating executives on the company’s accounting and operational services.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and the Managing Director to manage hiring for remote accountants.
  • Orient, train, and coach newly assigned accountants to deliver outsourced accounting and operational services.
  • Balance workflow and capacity across clients and team members while maintaining profit margins and leading annual performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10 years of related accounting experience.
  • 4 years of hands-on management experience, including hiring, training, and developing a service-oriented team.
  • Ability and commitment to work 32–35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during traditional daytime business hours.
  • Proven ability to attract, build, and retain a high-performance team.
  • Experience developing strong remote team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and sharing best practices.
  • Commitment to follow established policies and procedures and hold team members accountable to do the same.
  • Confidence learning and using QuickBooks Enterprise and Online, Bill.com, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, HubDoc, and similar tools.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Commitment to maintain the highest level of confidentiality when working with client data.
