Description

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional, non-functional, regression, performance, and accessibility testing.
  • Lead test automation initiatives by developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define effective testing strategies.
  • Review test cases, automation scripts, and test results to ensure coverage, accuracy, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Identify, document, track, and communicate software defects using bug-tracking tools to support timely resolution.
  • Analyze testing metrics and results to provide insights and recommendations for improving QA processes and product quality.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor and support QA team members through coaching, technical guidance, and best-practice standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA function and across engineering teams.
  • Partner with leadership on quality goals, hiring, resource planning, and staffing decisions.

Requirements

  • High-level proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on functional and automated testing.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a formal people leadership role, or equivalent experience as a people manager plus Technical Lead ownership.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex systems and resolve testing challenges.
  • Experience defining QA metrics and improving testing processes at scale (preferred).
  • Experience using AI platforms such as Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT to increase productivity, with understanding of LLMs and multi-agent systems applied to QE use cases (preferred).
  • Ability to work remotely from India with a minimum 4-5 hour daily overlap with 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time.
