Description

  • Initiate PAP therapy and monitor patient adherence according to company policy.
  • Troubleshoot PAP devices and resolve equipment issues.
  • Support patients through PAP setup, follow-up, and long-term treatment management.
  • Provide hands-on assistance with mask fitting and selection when needed.
  • Use EMR/EHR or database systems to document and track patient care.
  • Work closely with the treatment team in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.
  • Deliver empathetic support that helps patients overcome barriers to effective therapy.
  • Contribute to improved patient satisfaction, adherence, and treatment outcomes.

Requirements

  • RPSGT credential from the BRPT or equivalent certification, or Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC or equivalent certification.
  • Current certification, registration, or licensure to practice in California.
  • Ability to initiate PAP therapy and monitor adherence.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PAP devices.
  • Experience with an EMR/EHR system or database system.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfort using digital tools and working in a multitasking, fast-paced team environment.
  • Genuine passion for patient care, improved healthcare access, and better patient outcomes.
  • Preferred experience in a durable medical equipment (DME) setting or sleep medicine practice.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with mask fitting, PAP setup, troubleshooting equipment, and adherence monitoring.
  • Technical knowledge of RPM and remote software such as Airview.
  • Understanding of healthcare insurance and billing.
  • High level of empathy and patient service orientation.
