Description

  • Coordinate patient care from initial contact through treatment support.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide clear, empathetic service.
  • Support healthcare providers and sleep specialists with care delivery activities.
  • Use patient feedback to identify and drive service improvements.
  • Navigate EMR/EHR systems and other healthcare databases.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, providers, and external partners.
  • Help build operational processes for a scalable digital sleep clinic.
  • Manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a patient-facing or customer-facing role.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records, electronic health records, or healthcare database systems.
  • Confidence using digital tools while multitasking in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with healthcare providers, sleep specialists, and external partners.
  • Foundational understanding of billing processes and durable medical equipment (DME).
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and improved access and outcomes.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare insurance and referral processes preferred.
  • High empathy and ability to understand and support patients’ needs preferred.
