Description

  • Develop software applications using a general-purpose programming language such as C#, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Query large volumes of data and perform large aggregations efficiently.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize software that serves a web application and queries a database.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations with external applications.
  • Ensure software security and durability through appropriate alerting, monitoring, and logging.
  • Help manage data-heavy systems that transform noisy datasets into high-quality data products.
  • Support efficient execution of expensive analytics computations.
  • Contribute to handling a growing number of data sources, machine learning models, and large data operations.
  • Help create a user experience that supports both high-level aggregations and access to underlying source data.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in one or more of the core areas listed in the job description.
  • Experience developing software applications using a general-purpose programming language such as C#, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience efficiently querying large volumes of data and performing large aggregations.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing software for web applications and database-backed systems.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting integrations with external applications.
  • Experience building or supporting security, durability, alerting, monitoring, and logging for software systems.
  • Must be located within Americas timezones.
  • Experience with the company’s tech stack is a plus, including Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, Google Cloud Platform, PostgreSQL, and AlloyDB.
  • Familiarity with ML/data tools such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, vLLM, Skypilot, Marimo, or Prefect is a plus.
