Description

  • Define and maintain Sumble’s brand tone, editorial voice, and publishing standards across all channels.
  • Develop and own the company’s strategic narrative and translate it into essays, decks, talks, ads, and other go-to-market assets.
  • Own Sumble’s organic social presence, especially LinkedIn, including the editorial calendar, post writing, cadence, and engagement strategy.
  • Ghost-write content for founders, executives, and other team members to expand the company’s social presence.
  • Create long-form and short-form content across essays, social posts, ad copy, subject lines, and campaign assets.
  • Brief, shape, and direct video, motion, and visual content through editors, designers, and production partners.
  • Build sales enablement and funnel content, including case narratives, competitive teardowns, objection-handling materials, decks, one-pagers, landing pages, lifecycle nurture, and campaign emails.
  • Mine Sumble’s platform data and signals to create original market intelligence content such as data teardowns, market maps, and hiring-signal reports.
  • Own search visibility across SEO and AI answer engines, using structured content, original data, and external specialists to improve discoverability.
  • Measure content performance by piece and channel, and use feedback from Sales and Customer Success to iterate on what drives pipeline, brand, deals, and renewals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B content experience, ideally in GTM tech, sales tech, data infrastructure, RevOps platforms, or adjacent categories.
  • Experience writing for GTM buyers such as CROs, RevOps leaders, sales leaders, and marketing ops professionals.
  • Experience across both long-form and short-form content, with judgment to treat them as distinct crafts.
  • Prior experience defining a brand voice, with bonus points for transforming a B2B SaaS brand from corporate to more distinctive.
  • A sales-oriented mindset with experience working closely with sales teams and building content that influences deals.
  • Strong data curiosity and comfort working from raw platform signals as source material.
  • Experience operating as a super IC or building a content function from scratch, with a preference for deep individual contribution over management.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency in real production workflows, beyond basic drafting support.
  • Experience orchestrating external specialists such as consultants, agencies, designers, SEO partners, video producers, or freelance writers.
  • Strong ghost-writing ability, especially for founder or executive LinkedIn content.
  • Fluency with standard B2B content tools, including CMS, SEO/AEO, and analytics platforms.
  • Based in or able to work remotely across US time zones, as the team operates remote-friendly across the US.
